Why our landlords don’t have to worry about the tenant fee ban…

With the June 1st deadline for the tenant fee ban approaching fast, some landlords are panicking as they realise the fees once paid by their tenants are to be taken from their own pockets.

With many letting agents passing on the fees by raising their prices, charging landlords, and even suggesting a higher rent on the property, our landlords never have to worry about the changing legislation, and here’s why:

  1. We’re absorbing the cost of the tenant fees ban ourselves, meaning our landlords don’t have to pay an extra penny.
With so many landlords trusting in us to offer a great service, and get them the returns they need, we’ve made the decision to absorb the cost ourselves, meaning we will NOT be raising any fees or asking landlords to cover the cost, but rather will do the work for free.

  1. We always stay up to date with the latest legislation and we start putting it into place well ahead of time so that we know our landlords are covered.
With so many law changes taking place this year (over 150+!) it can be hard for landlords to keep up to date with the latest and ensure they’re compliant. As we keep ourselves up to scratch and immediately put the proper measures in place, our landlords never need to worry themselves with what’s changing in parliament – it’s already taken care of.

  1. We are the ONLY local agent which doesn’t earn a fee on 3rd party services.
Many people don’t realise that when certain services are carried out by 3rd parties on their property, a certain amount of the money paid goes straight into the letting agent’s pocket. Not with us. For services such as gas safety, electric checks, kitchen fittings, etc. we only recommend the best people we know and don’t take any fee, meaning you pay the best price for the best service, every time.

Instead of panicking about how you’re going to recoup your losses, or even thinking about selling up like many landlords likely are with all the changes, simply choosing the right agent can make all the difference.

You don’t need to raise your rent, you don’t need to pay out for the fees, you don’t even need to worry about how any law changes will affect you from now into the future because everything’s taken care of.
