The best local Easter Sunday roasts!

The best local Easter Sunday roasts!

When you’re on the hunt for a Sunday roast in time for Easter, you’ll be looking through a lot of different places.

What we do find is that when a lot of people move to the area, they go and hunt for a good roast too, which means that we’ve gone out and done some investigating to see what’s on offer in South Woodford in London.

With that in mind, and some lovely meals later, we’ve got a list of some of the different places where you could get your hands on roasts in time for Easter - although you should make sure if you’re going to book ahead you do it soon!

Rose and Crown

The Rose and Crown is located in Woodford Green, and is a lovely place for people who don’t want to have to try and do up the top button on the dress shirt! By that we mean, it’s quite a relaxed and casual place that everyone can enjoy, and this makes it heavily frequented, both by people who want a drink and then by those who want to enjoy a good meal in a casual environment. Plus, it’s not too pricey either but will cost you just enough that you’re getting a good standard of food. We think it’s a good pick.

The Three Jolly Wheelers

So, what’s to say about this place? Well, it’s pretty Victorian, but it’s definitely the most beautiful bits of the era. From the original fireplaces that still stand to the wooden beams, inside is charming. You will find that there’s a lot to appreciate when it comes to eating here. Plus, we found that there’s a good spread of different meals that all tasted great, so we think you’ll be in good standing for the all-important Easter meal.

The Kitchen

Another place that you can eat when you’re looking for a good choice is The Kitchen, which is a wonderful place for you to go when you are trying to find somewhere which serves a lot of delicious meals without having to worry about being exceptionally fancy. Their speciality is a whole selection of different European dishes which do include a good roast, and they don’t try and overly complicate things earlier, so you get access to good, real food. Plus, the interior is nice too, so you can just lean back and enjoy.

Overall, these are just a few of the different options which you should think about when it comes to getting the most from a Sunday roast in a local place. We know that it can make all the difference when you’ve moved to a new place and just want to be able to get a nice roast dinner for when you’re away from the family and the memories that come from it. We’ve seen these places as all being some of the best meals available and can recommend them as being the absolute best that you can choose when you’re in the area.
