England Rugby is inviting women to ‘release their inner warrior’ and register now for a free place at one of more than 100 ‘Warrior Camps’ taking place up-and-down the country this September. This initiative is part of England Rugby’s ‘Inner Warrior’ campaign, which has been created to introduce women to contact rugby, who have not had the chance to play before. Join us for Memory Walk 2019! Every 3 minutes someone in the UK develops dementia. But you can change this. Walk for a world without dementia at Memory Walk this autumn. A sponsored walk for all ages and abilities to unite together and raise money to defeat dementia.
 
What? London 2019 World Para Swimming Allianz Championships
Where? London Aquatics Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Taking place at the London Aquatics Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the World Para Swimming Allianz Championships is the largest disability swimming competition outside of the Paralympic Games and will see around 600 swimmers from 60 countries compete over the seven days. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be at the heart of the action and cheer on your nation!
 
What? Sun and Moon - Art & Cocktail Masterclass
Where? Nunnery Cafe, 181 Bow Road

Join us for a fun evening of art and cocktail making in the Nunnery Café with Bow Arts artist Jessica Jane Charleston. Make your own visual masterpiece and learn how to create some delicious and eye-catching cocktails in our unique ‘Sun and Moon’ themed event. Jessica Jane Charleston will teach participants how to draw from life, as well as the importance of imagination, and the effect that your hand can have on the mood of a painting. You will also be trained in the art of cocktail making by Nunnery Café bartenders Jay and Lucinda, learning key techniques and enjoying your own cocktails to get those creative juices flowing!

Held at Hampstead Heath's Kenwood House, attendees can listen in to speakers including economist and politician Yanis Varoufakis, broadcaster and journalist Emma Barnett, musician and visual artist Brian Eno, political activist and filmmaker Tariq Ali and many others, as they debate subjects from politics and art to philosophy and science. Once your mind's buzzing, calm down by listening to some acoustic music in the beautiful pastel-coloured building or lighten the mood with some stand-up comedy.
