What? Kaleidoscope Festival

The mighty Alexandra Palace has a lot of strings to its cultural bow, and last year it added another in the form of Kaleidoscope, a one-day music and arts festival. If last years is anything to go by – The Flaming Lips, Ghostpoet, Mystery Jets and John Cooper Clarke (amongst others) – it's sure to be a hit.
 
What? Woodford Barracudas Activity Day Camp
Where? Woodford County High School, High Road, Woodford Green

Barracudas have an unrivalled choice of summer camp activities and more ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED ratings than any other comparable provider. It is a family-run company and has been entertaining kids between the ages of 4 ½ to 14 years for over 25 years. Get the kids busy in the summer!
 
What? Pretty Muddy Kids

Cancer Research UK’s Pretty Muddy is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer! Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is the brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
 
What? National Park City Festival 2019

The Mayor of London’s National Park City Festival invites you to discover London’s amazing outdoors with hundreds of free events across the city, from outdoor fitness sessions and live performances to bee-keeping and open water events for the family.
 
What? Bach to Baby Family Concerts
Where? Wanstead United Reformed Church, Nightingale Lane, Wanstead

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers! Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow. No concert is complete without feeding, crying and nappy changing!

When? 8th July – 31st July 2019
All month long, the Park will play host to free outdoor sports sessions – including yoga, running, football, basketball, cycling and exercise classes. Partners around the Park will also be getting on board - activities will be aimed at a range of ages, ability levels and skills, so why not come along and join in?
 
What? Discover Epping Forest Day
Where? FSC Epping Forest, Paul’s Nursery Road, High Beach, Loughton
When? 20th July 2019
This annual open day will involve a selection of natural activities and nature walks suitable for all members of the family. Try pond dipping, and discover the animal in the pond. Hunt for minibeasts in the Forest and if you’re lucky, we may even find some mammals in the woods.
